Changan Invests Over THB 10 Billion in Thailand

Date:2026-10-28

Changan Automobile has invested over THB 10 billion in its manufacturing facility in Rayong, Thailand, aiming to establish the country as its largest new energy vehicle export production base outside China and its Southeast Asian regional headquarters. The facility covers key processes including body welding, painting and battery pack production, with the wider project expected to generate over 30,000 jobs across the supply chain.

As EV and battery manufacturing capacity expands, demand for controlled production environments—including air quality management, temperature and humidity control, dust filtration and cleanroom solutions—may increase, particularly in battery production, precision assembly and electronic component manufacturing. This presents potential opportunities for cleanroom engineering, air filtration, environmental control and HVACR equipment suppliers. ARHC 2027will connect industry players with emerging opportunities in ASEAN’s advanced manufacturing sector.
