Thailand’s smart manufacturing sector has welcomed another major investment, with Homa’s refrigerator factory officially commencing production.

Chinese refrigeration and home appliance manufacturer Homa launched its refrigerator production base in Chonburi Province, Thailand, on September 15, 2026. The project represents an investment of approximately RMB 680 million, covers nearly 200,000 square meters, and is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 1.5 million units in Phase I.

The new facility will further strengthen Thailand’s role as an advanced manufacturing hub in ASEAN, while contributing to local employment, supply chain development, and the advancement of smart manufacturing.

As the home appliance, electronics, data center, and high-end manufacturing industries continue to expand in Thailand, new opportunities are emerging for industrial refrigeration, clean environments, and smart HVACR solutions.
