Thailand continues to attract international investment in advanced manufacturing. The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) has approved an investment project by Electrolux Thailand to manufacture smart electrical appliances and high-energy-efficiency electrical appliances in Rayong.

The project focuses on energy-efficient products that meet Thailand’s No. 5 Energy Efficiency Label requirements or equivalent standards, supporting the country’s transition toward smarter and more energy-efficient manufacturing.

New investment is creating opportunities across the industrial supply chain. As Thailand expands smart manufacturing and high-efficiency production, demand is expected to grow for advanced HVAC systems, environmental control, energy management, and clean production solutions.

Rayong remains a key manufacturing hub in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). Electrolux’s investment highlights the continued expansion of international manufacturing operations in Thailand and the growing opportunities for global technology and solution providers in the ASEAN market.
