Thailand and Vietnam are entering a new phase of economic cooperation following the upgrade of their bilateral relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP). Both countries aim to strengthen supply chain connectivity, enhance industrial collaboration, and increase bilateral trade to USD 25 billion in the coming years.
The partnership will focus on future-oriented industries including advanced electronics, electric vehicles (EVs), digital technologies, renewable energy, and green manufacturing. By combining Thailand’s strengths in investment, logistics, and R&D with Vietnam’s manufacturing capabilities and extensive free trade network, the two nations are seeking to build a more resilient and competitive regional supply chain.
The initiative also supports ASEAN’s ambition to become a major global manufacturing and export hub amid ongoing geopolitical and supply chain shifts. Increased industrial activity across sectors such as electronics, EVs, and digital infrastructure is expected to drive growing demand for HVACR systems, cleanroom technologies, energy-efficient facilities, and smart manufacturing solutions throughout the region.
As ASEAN manufacturing continues to evolve, new opportunities are emerging for companies involved in industrial climate control, cleanroom engineering, and sustainable facility development.
