Thailand has officially launched a national semiconductor strategy, establishing a dedicated Semiconductor and Advanced Electronics Policy Committee to accelerate the country's transformation into a regional high-tech manufacturing hub.
Under the plan, Thailand aims to attract THB 2.5 trillion in investment and develop more than 230,000 skilled professionals, supporting long-term growth in semiconductor and advanced electronics manufacturing.
The initiative is expected to generate significant demand for cleanroom facilities and environmental control systems, as semiconductor production requires highly controlled manufacturing environments, including advanced HVAC systems, air filtration technologies, precision temperature and humidity control, and process cooling solutions.
As Southeast Asia continues to attract investments in semiconductors, electronics, AI infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing, Thailand's latest move highlights growing opportunities for the cleanroom industry and its supporting supply chain across the ASEAN region.
