The Society of Air-conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers of Korea (SAREK) was established in 1971 with the mission of promoting national welfare and advancing air-conditioning and refrigeration technology. There are 11 sector committees, such as building environment, air conditioning, refrigeration, facilities construction, fire and disaster prevention, energy, sanitation, automatic control, low temperature facilities, plant and ventilation.
